Brainstorming Future Possible Baby Girl Nursery! (no one’s prego, just having fun :D)

Baby time. No, I am not prego, but hoping to be again some day soon! I cannot tell a lie; we would love to add a girl to the mix. Of course if that doesn’t happen and we have a house full of little boys, I will be the most happy little mama ever. I LOVE MY BOYS! :D And would feel so blessed if I were to have another sweet pea.

Either way, I love brainstorming ideas for nurseries. And I am going to share with you some things I have found for a girls nursery that I love! I hope you enjoy! -J

First off is color. This is almost the color of my son’s room. I LOVE THIS COLOR. I know it is like the most popular shade going on right now, but I can’t help it. I would paint my whole house in shade of blue, and teal blue, and aquamarine, well you get the picture. :D I love the way pink looks with this color, so I think that the baby girls nursery will also be…blue. :) (or whatever you call this color!)

Love these colors!

And then there’s Laila Ali’s baby room! haha I am assuming this is child of Mohammad Ali? Here is the post which shows more of the beautiful room created for this little girl: Click here!

I just love that shade of pink. So beautiful! And against a blue, perfecto!

I have to say I am in love with this rug. Well pretty much the whole room…but I love the rugs that have dimension to them. Again I love these colors, with blue being the base color, and the bright accents all around!

2 Tone: Stain + Paint! love

Beautiful piece from Young House Love. I have always been a fan of the 2 tone, and lately I have been admiring pieces with (dark) stain and paint mixed. I love the retro modern feel of the piece above….not sure how that all fits into my plan, but we’ll have to wait and see!

Now I have always been a girl who loves modern graphics. Geometric shapes etc. Don’t know if it’s because my mom is a math teacher. Either way, when designing my son’s nursery everyone kept asking me the theme..like Animals or Mickey Mouse or Penguins…etc….And I had to come up with my own…Modern Geometric Pattern please! NO animals..haha :P Harsh I know. (Funny thing is he LOVES stuffed animals…and he has a ton of them.) His little big boy room will have more identity with a semi-sports theme. :D So I’m getting a little more away from that (only because I have another geometric nursery to design, hello!!)

With all that said, I love the above nursery. I love the modern colors and the shapes. I LOVE THE STRIPES ON THE WALL. We will have stripes somewhere in my house. Whether on the wall or the ceiling or multiple rooms. There will be stripes!

The above bedding comes from New Arrival Inc. Visit their site here and check out all the lovely geometric rooms they have!!! I love them!!

Sweet Chandelier

And of course, I love a good eclectic mix. I have always dreamed of having a sweet chandelier in my baby girls nursery. I have been eyeing one similar to this one, only with more bling and more pink, in a shop downtown. I might have to go snag it up and store it away. :D This one is from The Land Of Nod and is a sweet little piece.

Perfect Colors

Last but not least is one of my favorite color palettes. This pretty much sums it up. I LOVE THE TURQUOISE WALLS WITH THE TAUPE DRESSER AND THE PEACHY PINK CHANGING PAD. That is it. I love it. Add a white crib, some geometric shapes and there you have it folks. My future possible nursery. Bill it! (I say that when I get excited, and it’s done.)

I hope you enjoyed the Baby Girl Room Inspiration! Let me know what you think?!
